My cousins and I were trying to feed this shy turtle-but it wasn’t easy with a greedy duck and koi swimming around! [IMG_0604.HEIC]

[image] When I first spotted these developing slime molds it made me wonder if they somehow inspired Hayao Miyazaki for the tree spirits (the Kodama) that appear in his film, Princess Mononoke. Mr. Miyazaki’s eye for real natural details never ceases to amaze me. [image]
