I really enjoy joining projects. I horde projects I’ve joined like a magpie hordes random trinkets. I’m always looking for more to join and I’ve already found some good ones from seeing them get mentioned here on various forum threads. So to all my fellow magpies here, what are some of your favorite…

I wouldn’t want to self promote but I recently created the project Winter Twigs Although the name is winter twigs, any deciduous including drought deciduous plants are welcome. I found there weren’t any projects collecting dormant branches of deciduous trees and shrubs so I set out to make my own.…

@Spifferella what an extensive list! Thanks for sharing  [image] Spifferella: People Gripping Animals Like They Owe Em Money - It’s like these life forms aren’t tame or something? This wins funniest title, hands down. Love this one! I added my photos from college ornithology class and…

This is an awesome list, I’ll certainly be joining several of these! Also, [image] Spifferella: Bald Moths - What’s up with that? Moths are covered in tiny scales and they can easily rub off if they do something like crawling under a leaf and having their top side brush against it, for examp…

[image] Spifferella: Lightning Strikes … And one observation of some poor sheep or something. I went to check out the project just to see what you were talking about and now I’m all filled up on nightmare fuel for the next week.

It feels kind of wrong to include my own project, but if more people knew about it, maybe it would become a favorite? https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/super-chill-buns

@Ajott @sedgequeen @clockwood @saskatoonafforestationareas @jasonhernandez74 @deboas I’ve added observations from mentioned projects to Observations With ID Tips . It now has 2500+ observations, 48 members, and a new curator. Keep it going guys! And do tell me if you notice any similar projects, obs…

You might add my project https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/01-bestimmungshilfen-identification-aid

Aside from the previously mentioned Amazing Aberrants and Jumping Spider (Salticidae) Mimicry, I like: Gynandromorph Bees (not many observations, but I really like gynandromorphs. Might make a project focusing on them in general, since one doesn’t seem to exist yet…) Aberrant Arthropods Bee and W…

Popped over to the projects page and was met with this recently created gem. I suppose I know what I’m going to be searching for on iNat tonight!

It looks like @carnifex had the same idea a few days earlier. Great minds! Maybe you can discuss between you to choose one to maintain and both be project curators on it.
