What is your ”Holiday Season animal”?

This little arachnid measuring 1mm in length was a Christmas Day visitor under the porch light. The tiny critter sports two-toned legs and crafts an impressive sheet webbing. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/103694011

Yesterday there were several nondescript moths on the outside of the house, which turned out to be my only Christmas observations. So for this year at least, moths!

I was hoping for moths at the porch light but none were flying Christmas Day.

Being way up north in Anchorage, Alaska not too much goes on during winter and the holidays. However, Common Ravens are ever present and fun to watch.

The great-horned owl is definitely a favourite of mine, and it happens to stop by my house about once a year during the holiday season.
