Why does earlier "Life" ID with a single later refined ID still show as "Life" at the top?

example here–2 IDs, life followed by sponges–I would think the top of the observation should say “sponges” https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/36425394

I’ve noticed other observations like this, too.
