Step 1: Followed link to ‘Year in Review’ on homepage https://www.inaturalist.org/home
Step 2: Only one observation showing for this year, when under ‘Your Observations’ it shows 671. My suspicion would be that this would be because I generally use inaturalist.nz rather than inaturalist.org. Identifications may be accurate but I believe I’ve done more than displayed as well.
