I can see a potential difficulty here, in that someone might decide the thread is TL/DR and preferentially vote for early entries that require less scrolling. Unless these will be presented differently once the voting begins?

Me and trh_blue thought about that and decided the way to fix that would be to pick the 10 best photos and people vote for those photos. But I was thinking of changing it to 25?

25 would give us a wider selection without being too long. More than that might start to feel too long.

Please pick a wide variety of photos, to account for different tastes. E.g. plant, animal, more abstract, less abstract, solo headshots of birds vs creatures surrounded by the environment, which creates perhaps interesting patterns.

Question: do you want/accept pictures with watermarks (logos) or are ones without encouraged?

No we do not accept photos with watermarks, and I do not know what you mean by

Yeah, I phrased that a little weirdly - I meant are ones without watermarks the ones allowed. Not sure why I said encouraged, that implies it’s not a rule
