A...casual observation?

Please fill out the following sections to the best of your ability, it will help us investigate bugs if we have this information at the outset. Screenshots are especially helpful, so please provide those if you can.

Platform (Android, iOS, Website):

App version number, if a mobile app issue (shown under Settings or About):

Browser, if a website issue (Firefox, Chrome, etc) : firefox

URLs (aka web addresses) of any relevant observations or pages:

Screenshots of what you are seeing (instructions for taking a screenshot on computers and mobile devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org/):

Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: I uploaded an observation of a pied kingfisher, with date and location.

Step 2: I added a obs field

Step 3: I looked at the observation and noticed it was casual, even though everything was present.

So what should I do?

(sorry if I wrote/made this wrong, this is my first bug report. If I need to make any changes, please mention it)

It appears that you yourself made the downvote, since the thumbs down button is dark.

Try voting that the organism is wild.

If it’s wild, click on Yes.

Where should I click?

If someone else says, “no, it’s not wild”, then the number one and a red X appear next to the thumbs down button. If, however, you make the vote, all this happens AND the thumbs down button is darker than the others.

Lol, I probably made the down vote while fiddling with the annotations. Thanks again!

Anytime your observation ends up as Casual when it should be Research Grade, check that list of Research Grade Qualifications to see what is interfering with it.
