Accept numerical taxon IDs in searches

It would improve certain workflows to have the species search bar that appears on the home page, identify mode and observations to accept the currently used in urls (taxon_id=6930, ident_taxon_id=6930, /taxa/6930 ) numerical taxon id’s as an alternative input (ex. 6930 = Anas platyrhynchos/Mallard)

It would allow additional recognizable inputs, currently there a lot of different inputs that go back to the same species and this could be one more. Sometimes I remember numbers better and I have found myself remembering the inat taxon id for something first since I have been working with it in urls.
Maybe there are others out there who have experienced this? Maybe someone else might find this useful?

I have never tried to remember taxon IDs (I think that would be much harder for me), but it could be useful for copying/pasting. When curators edit a parent taxon, they have the opportunity to put the taxon ID without needing to select anything from a drop-down.

Made a github issue here: https://github.com/inaturalist/inaturalist/issues/4362

This feature seems to have been implemented by these two changes: #501, #502.

and causing unintentional disruptions to some users workflow, an aspect I did not consider when I suggested this feature
