Yes, it does - I requested the feature because there’s no other way to exclude observations that have already been identified by a specific user. The Identify dialog doesn’t have an option for that.
But in any case: I did not intend to express an opinion about your proposed solution. I was just pointing out that there are other ways to work around some of the problems and achieve effectively the same outcome.
