When identifying I often filter by sex or life stage. It helps that with hoverflies in Europe an increasingly good proportion of observations have these annotations. I find it easier to only think about the criteria for identifying one type of thing at a time. I would like it if it were easier to filter by annotations on the explore page, as well as the identify page.
