Analyze IDs tool not working for a large split

Hello,

I’ve been working on a draft of a split to hopefully resolve the long-discussed issues with North American ratsnake taxonomy on iNat ( https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/532159 ). This is just a draft and I don’t plan on committing before more curators agree and staff approve of it since it will affect a very large number of observations (around 64,000 as of today) and since this has been a particularly acrimonious area of taxonomic disagreement for some time (but from what discussion I’ve had in the linked flag, there now seems to be agreement on what to do, or at least no vocal disagreement).

I have the two output species with atlases made (the species are inactive, but the atlases are activated), and a draft of the split made ( https://www.inaturalist.org/taxon_splits/168923 ). When I click on the Analyze IDs button, it shows the loading sign for a few seconds and then it disappears and nothing happens. Has anyone else run into a similar issue, and are there any ways around it? I’m assuming it could be because it’s a large split so too computationally intensive to run the tool.

There’s an open bug report for analyze IDs not working here: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/analyze-unintended-disagreements-tool-isnt-working/71813

Ah, ok, thanks. That’s it then.
