I stumbled across this Nudibranch of the UK guide https://www.inaturalist.org/guides/21563
I would like to something similar for my area Jersey and, or the Channel Islands, I have an area map for Jersey waters which I use with other projects.
But I was thinking of doing a local Nudibranch page, a local Crab guide, Jelly fish guide etc.
I have asked the editor of the above website, so asking here also.
Regards Nick - Jersey
I note that the iNaturalist Guides feature has been on hold since 2019 (almost 7 years at this time of writing in 2025 Nov!):
But others like @DianaStuder and @gcwarbler will have ideas about journals and other alternatives.

Not a taxon specialist. I defer to those with knowledge to share.

I don’t know about guides, but when I go to a new place I usually do an iNat search for all the Research Grade observations in that area. Its a good visual guide!
e.g. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=3157&quality_grade=research&taxon_id=47113&view=species

The Species Dex for iNaturalist Tools is really helpful for gathering species information for local areas. It can also go higher than the top 1000 species(but that shouldn’t be a problem).
