A place to show off your best pictures of majestic and wonderful creepy crawlies! I’m aiming more for pretty colorations (more like a painting) less than cuteness, but all pictures are accepted.

This long jawed orbweaver I found on my kayak has a really pretty color, it almost looks like glitter.I love this idea, but the staff said the Forum isn’t for photo sharing because they take up lots of storage space which iNat pays for. Don’t you want that money to go to the main site itself?
P.S. And please, anyone who is reading this, don’t make any threads for uploading raw video game files, OK? :P

I was quite pleased with the photos of these two moths I found recently.The incredible variation in moths is wonderful!
In fairness, in the new user tutorial, Discobot explains how to add a picture to a post, but it doesn’t say anything about this being a problem.
Grasshopper nymph. I think it might be a Red-legged grasshopper. It’s probably in the genus Melanoplus.
Big Monarch caterpillar, probably close to metamorphosis.Swamp Cicada I caught. Very beautiful green pattern, especially on the wings.

I don’t really consider this a bug since it isn’t even an insect at all, but it’s a very beautiful Jumper. I hate other spiders though.
I don’t think the people at Discourse anticipated the number of photo-heavy topics on this forum. It wouldn’t be a problem if images were only used occasionally, as they are in most topics.
