Looks like there’s at least one Bufflehead in the group.

The Ducks, Geese, and Swans group: in the middle of the group, about two-o-clock to the three-pronged tree branch. (Actually, the prongs are pointing towards it.)

I think most of them are Bufflehead. I can count at least 6 that are confidently-IDable.

Sparrows are the winner. During this week try to find a Sparrow species and share your bird of the week experiences with us. Until then happy birding!

Is this really a useful way of conducting a discussion on the forum? There are now over 1200 responses with no sub-headings so no way of finding out if anything is of interest without reading the whole thing. Maybe others have already made this point, but the same problem applies - no way of knowing…
