Many sources say, Burnsius albsecens and Burnsius communis are indistinguishable in the field, only by dissection under a microscope.
Does anyone know of a way to distinguish them where there ranges intersect, or is " Common “Checkered-Skipper and Allies (Complex Burnsius communis)” the best id one can expect.
If there’s no hybrid swarm, they can obviously tell each other apart. Based on my observations of two similar species of yellows, I wonder if they show different flight or courtship behaviors.
