Butterfly watching places around Osaka and Kyoto

I’m planning a trip to Osaka and Kyoto in late May and I’m seeking recommendations for accessible places for butterfly watching in both areas.

I’m on my way to Kyoto on the Shinkansen right now! Have you searched those areas for observations of leps, and DM’d the top observers?

Yes, I have reviewed the observations, but they might not be representative since iNat isn’t widely used in Japan. Additionally, I am not able to determining the accessibility of these locations via public transport.
