Can you participate in writing the “About” section files?

It’s all in the title. I would have liked to help complete some “About” section sheets for species, but I can’t find any way to propose texts as would be done in Wikipedia. Is this possible? If not, is adding text functionality with peer validation possible?

About pages are Wikipedia pages, so just create a page there with the same name as the species your helping with.

This is taken from the “Edit taxon” page:

The title of the Wikipedia article that we use for the description. If the Wikipedia URL is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird, then this value should be Bird. If left blank the scientific name of this taxon is used (that usually works).
