Just wondering if you happen to know whether there are any other case moth cases (in Australia) which are very structurally similar to the Saunder’s? I took some photos of some Saunder’s ID’d cases recently but my mum swears she has seen the exact same cases as a kid, but that they belonged to a different moth (she doesn’t recall the moth but remembers the caterpillars being quite generic / ‘uninteresting’). I suggested Evergreen Bagworm Moth but apparently it wasn’t that either.
ethanbeaver and casemothcapers are the best ones to tag in your observation :)
Thanks!
Might tag them next time I see one. A bit tricky since its not about a specific observation so much as wanting to know more about similar cases. :)
