This has no doubt been discussed. How do I recover and cite an image posted on iNat?
When I put the photo/ observation # in the search box I get “no results”.
How do I cite an image in a publication so that the reader can find and view it?
You can edit the observation URL to a different observation number. I’d recommend using the whole observation link, but you could also use the image link. This article does the former:
