I’m doing an informational video and would like to use photos to highlight certain species as they are discussed in the video. Obviously I would only use observations that have a creative commons license, and want to give proper attribution to the creator and inat. The project is non commercial.

Check the format used by Wikimedia Commons. The same format can be adapted to iNat metadata.
I’m not a lawyer, so I can’t say for sure. If you click on the license on the photo, then click on “some rights reserved” you’ll be taken to the Creative Commons page for that license, eg https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/
