Description of problem: Community ID is in consensus besides subspecies level ID but observation is still “Needs ID” despite 4 agreeing species level ID “against” one subspecies level ID of the same species. Happened on another observation as well which was corrected by removing subspecies level.
In the past, this would simply cause the observation to go to research grade at the higher taxonomic level (unless IDs were “I don’t know, but I know it is x species), but now it keeps it at Needs ID at the subspecies level.
Unsure if this is a bug or a policy change.
