Description of problem (please provide a set of steps we can use to replicate the issue, and make as many as you need.):

Step 1: Observation for a moth species it is non-native in the United States. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/267945616

Step 3:

I’m not seeing that in the Wikipedia article?

It probably originated in Europe, South Africa, or the Mediterranean region

Yes, it does indicate native in the US in the Wikipedia article, but it shows non-native on the observation page. This first link I provided above will take you there. Here’s a screenshot in case the link doesn’t get you there.

I wrote above that the Wikipedia article doesn’t say that this species is native to North America. Where are you seeing that Wikipedia says it’s native to North America? Can you please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Here are instructions for how to take a screenshot on several types of devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org

It is at the top of the species information page, but is not stated on the Wikipedia tab. Note that it states this species is native to the United States.

The referenced establishment means match now - if you want to discuss its nativity you can comment on the checklist entry: https://www.inaturalist.org/listed_taxa/7644643 since its nativity status in North America wasn’t 100% clear to me based on that wording.

No bug here - the listed taxa were previously entered as both native (North America/US) and introduced (Tennessee) on different checklists.
