Thank you. The original observer might not know to do this. I’ve become reluctant to add id’s when the observer has a placeholder.

I don’t think you should feel reluctant to ID these types of observations. You can just add the placeholder as a comment.

We’re not going to move forward with this. The term “placeholder” was chosen because its existence is ephemeral. People can always use the description field if they want to write something more permanent.
