I was just wondering.

We talk a lot about exotic species and locations, but what are the exotic observation technologies that have been used in iNat postings?

I think I heard of someone using a light sensitive chemical emulsion to capture images of organisms.

Maybe not the most exotic, but thermal imaging is certainly interesting.

Well there’s @joemdo that frequently uses spectrograms for bat observations in my area, but other than that I haven’t really seen too many exotic observation methods.
