Find species with zero observations

If I were to specify a higher classification, e.g. mammals, and then a location, e.g. Australia, is it possible to bring up a list of all the Australian mammal species that are in iNat, but haven’t been observed yet?

You can do that on the place’s checklist page and filtering for observed=no, though i believe its unobserved in the country rather than the whole inat? cmiiw
Here is one for australian mammals: https://www.inaturalist.org/check_lists/7060-Australia-Check-List?q=&view=plain&taxon=40151&observed=f&threatened=any&establishment_means=any&occurrence_status=not_absent&rank=species&taxonomic_status=active

Perfect, exactly what I wanted. Much appreciated

Please note this approach requires it to be on the checklist. Some checklists are quite complete having been imported from external sources. Others are effectively made up from inat records. If the 2nd is the case for where you want, you are stuck.

But it is really the only way to do it.
