Forgive my ignorance, but can I get still get my year in review summary?

Late in December I got my year in review summary which said I had 270 observations this year. My calculations show that I have 280 observations. I know that the year in review was updated every Sunday. Is it possible for me to get the last update?

Yes, just click on Regenerate Stats on the bottom of your Year in Review page.

Thanks. It says 272 which is still less than I have counted. Could that be a difference between observed and posted dates? I assume iNat counts by the dates posted, is that correct?

It’s using Observed-on dates for that count: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?d1=2023-01-01&d2=2023-12-31&place_id=any&subview=table&user_id=janebp

Yes, which means that you can get year-in-review stats for years when you weren’t on iNaturalist, if you upload observations observed in those years.
