Functionality of Similar Species Tab

I was wondering if the order in which identifications are added, changed, or agreed to affects what shows up on the similar species tab and when. Does the new ID have to reach research grade before it’s added to the list? How about if an observation has multiple disagreements?

Examples:

Simplest case
User A suggests species A
User B disagrees species A, suggests species B
User A agrees

More complicated
User A leaves unknown
User B suggests species A
User C disagrees species A, suggest family B
User D suggests species B in family B

or

User A suggests species A
User B disagrees species A, suggests species B
User A agrees
User C disagrees species B, suggests species C
