Funny people :)

When making identifications, I love coming across people with a great sense of humor. Have you read any funny comments from observers or other identifiers recently? Have you posted funny comments you’d like to share with us?

I recently came across this one: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/198941430.
And I had some fun with a comment on this one: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/257989699.

I’d love to share some laughs with everyone if you have some examples for us! :)

There are some projects related to this, like Observational Comedy: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/observational-comedy

OMG! That’s great!

Yes, that is similar as some of them have funny commentary about funny observations. But some of those really funny photos don’t have any comments from people. I’m specifically looking for the humor that people show, perhaps even if the observation itself may not have appeared so funny before they made the comment. :)

This is hilarious! I scrolled for 5 minutes, laughing, before I realized I was only about 5% through.

Love it! @muir’s comment is exactly my sentiment, and my reason for this conversation:
‘iNat is better with a bit of whimsy – thanks!’ :)

If notes can be count as comments then…

Can’t. Plants do not have a Dead or Alive option.

I would ID your latte as Homo sapiens - evidence of human - which is Casual by default.

The notes in this one are very entertaining.

This one’s great! It makes me think that there must be some from an organism’s perspective commenting on the human observer(s) nutty behavior. :)
