GPS coordinates do not pull up correctly on map in iOS app v. 3

It hasn’t been added yet but it’s in the pipeline.

Similar problem. I’m mapping trees and their locations show up correctly on my Firefox browser (v. 129.0) but many are missing on my iPhone iOS 17.5.1.

Can you please send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Here are instructions for how to take a screenshot on several types of devices: https://www.take-a-screenshot.org

From Firefox browser

From iPhone app

in your case, it looks like the observations that are missing from your iOS screenshot are the observations that are casual grade. i don’t use the iOS app, but if there’s a way to toggle inclusion of all observations, regardless of quality grade, then i bet you would be able to see all your observations.

that said, your issue appears to be different from the original issue described in this thread (which seems to be related to the way obscured observations are displayed).

There isn’t a way to do this. The iOS map doesn’t display casual grade observations at all.

You can filter by quality grade in iNaturalist Next, though, which was just (quietly) released. I’m going to close this.
