Sam’s quite eloquent and enthusiastic, I thought I’d share! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap1aLIVbxh8
I also had the pleasure of interviewing Sam years ago when he visited California: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pW1VaJyyfCc

Whoa, awesome video! Great job @sambiology!
Haha! Thanks! I’m super lucky to be able to utilize iNat as part of my job – not only do I learn a TON, but I use it to guide and convince public land managers to manage the habitat for wildlife AND the naturalists that seek out the wildlife. :)
iNat rulz. :)
Sam’s one of my main “rivals” in iNats all species but I’ve never known much about him before. What a great video showing the knowledgeable, enthusiastic and inspiring man. Keep it up Sam!
When I grow up, I want to be just like @sambiology!
Now…as for growing up…
Passing on the torch to the next generation - bravo !
Two great interviews! What an enthusiastic naturalist you are - love it!
Heck yeah, we loved watching it!
Awesome video! When I first started using iNat, Sam and a few other members of this community made me feel so welcome and appreciated. Made it very clear to me that I wanted to stick around and get more involved! The software and tools are integral to iNat, but it’s the community that keeps me around.
Bravo! Wonderful video!
and his welcome reaches across the pond, to Cape Town
That was so very fun to watch!
Sam, enthusiastic? I’ve never noticed.
Excellent video! I don’t think I’ve ever heard Sam talk six minutes about nature without mentioning moths, though.
Sam is one of the main reasons I’m into iNaturalist and Texas bioblitzes. A great naturalist and a fantastic person, he is!
Nice video about iNaturalist and how exciting it is to use it to personally engage with nature with it and teach others how to do so as well, featuring @sambiology
this is the same as the one noted in: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/great-new-video-about-inat-starring-sambiology-from-texas-parks-and-wildlife/48774.
i also noted the extended video here: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/you-know-youre-seriously-into-inat-when/1992/1592.
I merged the above two posts with the existing thread on this video.
