Honour the confirming ID notifications for subspecies and varieties

With the selection of
Confirming ID’s : If you turn this off, you will no longer be notified about IDs that agree with yours.

I get notifications when people add a higher level ID (often species rank) to subspecies, without disagreeing with the subspecies ID.

Please honour the confirming ID notifications for subspecies and varieties.

Hi Tony, the feature works as designed - you should not be receiving notifications when an ID that exactly matches yours is added, but you will receive IDs when those that do not exactly match are added. If you’d like to add a request to change how a feature works, please use the Feature Requests category.
