I recognize that there are some fuzzy/flawed/incorrect polygons on iNat all over the World, but I would certainly not want my carefully crafted ones discarded.

I suspect that everyone who has ever created a polygon feels the same. Even those whom you might consider to have made the fuzzy/flawed/incorrect ones.
