I haven't seen or heard an eastern meadowlark in my central Wisconsin yard in two years

I haven’t noticed it. I do notice some birds just go away and then come back, like when I didn’t see any cardinals for a few years.

Has the habitat changed at all? More mature trees, more outdoor cats, etc?
