Does not happen for me in Chrome or Firefox. I’d suggest disabling extensions and trying or providing more info about browser settings. I would guess it is something specific to your browser setup.

I’ve been experiencing the same thing with Microsoft edge the past few months too. I don’t have any web extensions that I know of that would mess with this.

Hmm, I can replicate what @dgwdoesthings sees if I change my site locale from English to English (UK).

I can replicate and have filed an issue. Looks like it’s not correctly falling back to the default en values when your locale is en-GB.
