ID's removed from 2/24/2025 observations

These five observations were research grade with two or more IDs the day they were submitted (2/24/2024). Suddenly, this morning the IDs are all missing.

Probably the identifier deleted their account. There is a feature request open so that doing so would not automatically result in the loss of their IDs: https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/change-account-deletion-functionality-to-allow-account-anonymisation-and-prevent-deletion-of-ids/52534

Thanks for the explanation. I now understand what happened. Definitely needs fixing.

The user who deleted their profile is entitled to remove their IDs, if they so choose. If, I decided to leave, I would delete - since I could no longer respond to comments or changing taxonomy.
We need more identifiers - so that - if and when one goes - they don’t leave a reverberating cavern. Once were IDs here … That is also why people say - a third or fourth ID is good, just in case.
