INat in the News - Joros spiders (

INat was mentioned as a data source for a recently published University of Georgia study on range expansion for the introduced Joros spider (Trichonephila clavata): " The researchers used records from iNaturalist to track sightings of the spiders across Georgia throughout the year. iNaturalist is a joint venture from the National Geographic Society and California Academy of Sciences that plots user reports of animals to create location data on a variety of species."
