Well, it’s letting me post observations although the CV is out. I can’t use saved locations but I can look up new places and then use the location.

then you are not “posting” observations, just capturing them on your phone. You will have to sync later - when iNat is up - to “post” them.
I work at a tech company. Half of our products are on AWS, half are on Azure (don’t ask). Yesterday everything on Azure was intermittent and wacky, but by the afternoon MS seemed to be getting things sorted. But it’s certainly possible that other systems are still being impacted.
But I could have sworn that I read somewhere that iNat is on AWS.

I received this Robert Gumpertz cartoon on a birthday card over a decade ago. Ever since, it has remained in a place of honor on a bulletin board right above my computer.
