I don’t know how to answer these questions. I don’t like getting my picture taken because I’d rather be taking pictures, and I’m not upset, I just have a relatively placid expression most of the time. And they have never seen me truly happy.

Ok, I made it! 1000 RG-animal species in this year in Andalucía. As I knew I wouldn’t be able to travel (much) this year, I decided on this challenge and today # 1000 was confirmed. Had a lovely time being a tourist in Andalucia myself this year. Way too many sparrow photos as I was trying to find the elusive Spanish sparrow. Italica is a great spot for those.

For animals I have >1200 species, but only 60% of these have RG status (too few birds and too many tiny insects 
)
I’ve made myself a birding-rule for not-birders: If it makes tschipp, tschipp it’s a house sparrow. If it doesn’t - look again! That’s how I found this: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/325394128 I have usually seen them in Fuente de Piedra.
Passed 1,300 species in my yard.

1877 IDs made yesterday(90% leading)—most in a day for me since July 18, 2020. 11th most IDs for me in a day and by far the most leading/improving IDs for me in a day ever.
I see this is based on observation date rather than upload date. Incentive to upload more old photos.

It’s the phone settings. You must go to fonts and choose from the available list, if you have an Android
I added more IDs to observations today than ever before in a single day! I made over 700 in total.
Just hit 1,000 Loranthaceae observations (of a little under 50,000 globally). I should hit 8,000 IDs for that taxon shortly.
Actually, make that 875 IDs.
