I observed Genus Eudictya and to my surprise there are only 7 observation of this Genus around the world. More intrestingly, it hadn’t been observed since February 2023.
Passed 1900 IDs! Was thinking of maybe trying for the 2K before New Years but I think I need a break….

I did a lot of identifying this year. Today, there are exactly 100 taxa for which I have identified over 1000 observations of! Most are ladybugs or birds, but a few squirrels, true bugs, and other insects have manages to push their way over 1000 identifications too. The Siberian Squill and Black Knot are probably the most out of place!

I added a few more observations at the final hour so I could get a total of 750 verifiable for the year (I already had 750 with captive plants included). Of course I still haven’t finished uploading everything from 2025. I told myself I was going to finish before the end of the year, but then I got side tracked by the ID-a-thon.

Wow. That is a lot. I just checked mine and I have 2 taxa that I’ve IDed more than 1000 times. (You can probably guess what they are haha)
In 2025 I made 575 observations and I observed 285 species.
I also made 67,748 IDs, mostly from Argentina and Africa and I helped 7,159 people with IDs.
187 people helped me identifying my observations.
