Introduced Species - accepted or?

Going thru my life list of birds on iNaturalist, I noticed that Black Swan, which I’ve seen in Hawaii and London, is marked "introduced in both locations. However, it is listed as “research grade” on the London sighting (with 4 confirmations) but as “casual” on the Hawaii sighting, with 3 confirmations. Why?

It’s casual because a user marked is as captive, if they’re escaped birds and don’t have cut wings and are not owned by anyone, they’re wild, otherwise should be marked as captive, if they’re wild you should mark them so and maybe next time write a description so people won’t confuse them with captive birds.

The environmental status of a species has nothing to do with the quality grade of an observation of said species.
