Isn't there Thasos island as a location on iNaturalist?

I can’t find the island in the locations iNat provides… if I look for ‘Thasos’ on the map, it only gives me the city. Does it happen to anyone else? How can I specify the whole island for a search, for example?

you’d have to create a place in the system.

if you don’t already have a source for the KML file to create the place, probably the easiest way to get one is to export the place from OpenStreetMap via overpass turbo.
