Location unknown?

Did a search and didn’t find an answer. Probably using bad key words again. Any way here it is: I have a number of photographs from various adventures from before I contributed to either iNat or ebird that I do not remember the exact location. For example, I may know it was in Pawnee National Grasslands in Colorado but not narrowed down well. Pawnee is a big place. Others I may only know somewhere in the Eastern Plains of Colorado. A very big place. Can I share these with iNat and if yes how should I treat location? I want to be able to share them for various reasons like one I found today is a moth I would like confirmation on the id. Others are just kind of cool photos. Other are of well loved species like burrowing owls…

Location data includes a radius of uncertainty. I’d just mark the location as a circle which encompasses all of Pawnee National Grasslands, or even all of Colorado. It’s not as useful as a more precise location, but even knowing on which continent the observation was made can help narrow down the list of possible species.

Assuming that you also have solid dates for the images even if the locations are generalized?

@pburka & @gcwarbler - thank you!
