Yes, there are cases where everyone ID’s something obvious in the picture, but later the original observer says “Oh, you were all supposed to be focusing on this other thing in the bottom left corner.” Or more common perhaps, it becomes about the flower, not the insect. This often happens because someone notices that the same photo was already ID’ed as an insect in another observation, therefore THIS observation must be about the flower. Not obvious if you didn’t see both.

Or, the times when the original observer said that up front, but everyone went ahead and IDed something more obvious anyway.
