Interesting article on Reuters https://www.reuters.com/business/environment/how-daredevil-drones-find-nearly-extinct-plants-hiding-cliffs-2022-12-10/
Has anyone done this in person? Will we see more drone photos on iNat (I think there was a recent related forum topic)?
I haven’t, but I’ve looked at some of these remote cliffs before and certainly wanted to! I settle for the distant telephoto shots and hope something can be picked out. Would be really fun to get out with those folks and see what they find.

I have a friend that monitors Batoids in Australia with drones.
