Move to Discourse has been an improvement?

I don’t recall if this was included in the 2019 recap blog post, but looking back since implementation, changing over to this format rather than a listserv-like forum has seemed to help coordination of volunteerism of different kinds. This is very cool! (Admittedly I have little perspective on the old way, not being an “old timer” here, so others may feel differently.)

I feel like there’s much more of a sense of community now that it’s in forum-form. It’s nice!
