My latest new species?

On my observations page I can see a total number of species I have observed.

Is there any way to list what the last 5, 10, 20 of those were?

I can’t use observation or added dates as an observation may have only recently been identified.

I’ve tried a few search strings but nothing is giving me the output I’m after.

thanks

maybe this will help on what you are looking for https://glauberramos.github.io/inat/lifelist

or you want additional control filters than the above tool? like you only want list which are recently updated to species ID for first time even if they are oldest observations? could they be casual observations too? should that list be RG or verifiable observations? will your own species ID count or someone else has to ID?

Thank you - that’s certainly pretty much what I was looking for. Although it has a different number than shown on iNaturalist site - My Observations page records 767 species, and the above link (with all taxa levels inclided) lists 704 species.

because some of your observations are at Genus IDs or higher, it grabs only species ID.

but you can enable this and load.

Yes - that is what I did.

I was wondering though if you are excluding casual ID’s while iNat is including them? that could be the difference. (and I can’t see any casual Obs included)

maybe it is. i think its design choice of @glauber735

An excellent set of tools - VERY interesting - thank you !!!

it was, and @glauber735 has already modified it to include casual Obs as an option. He’s also tweaked a few of the others as well - they just keep getting better and better.
