Mycologists: Pluteus cervinus vs. Pluteus exilis, what’s the difference?

I’ve been seeing observations of this specific mushroom often (either P. cervinus or P. exilis) I’m never sure how to ID them or differentiate them. Anyone have any tips? Thank you.

Mushroom expert has some tips to differentiate between them, but this entire group of pluteus is almost impossible to ID based just off of macromorphology. Tbh, even with a microscope, it can be difficult - it is a seriously cryptic group
