Seriously, there are other ways to mark observations as casual. If I want to see observations marked captive, I want captive organisms, not random humans or fossils found in the wild or whatever! (And that’s not even getting into the debate about whether museum specimens are “captive.”

OMG MURPHY 
At the nature center I volunteer at, the resident eagle Kili (yes, after the dwarf in the Hobbit) will stand on the ground and scream whenever anything in his enclosure or outside changes.
