Nature related dreams

I’m not sure if it counts as lucid dreaming, and they’re not specifically about nature, but often if I’m having a deardful dream, I can become aware that it is a dream, and relax and choose to wake up.

ABSOLUTELY. It helps when I’m running from something. I just look back, smirk, and wake up.

Capturing two beetles in one bag (Calasoma & a Coccinellid) And then they turn green and the Calasoma becomes… Something (Most like the image below)

I kind of like the dreams when I’m running from something, which reminds me of another one I had a long time ago. I was outside doing something (I’m not sure what), but then I discovered that this big red lobster with a scorpion stinger was crawling around and looking for me.
I ran from it for a while, and when I finally thought I had lost it, I hid in the bushes and was watching to make sure it hadn’t seen me. I was just thinking that I had finally escaped it when I looked down to see it crawling up my chest, about to plunge its stinger into me… and then I woke up.

I’ve had a few lucid dreams but I don’t think I’ve had a nature related lucid dream.

@apusaffinis yes, the definition of lucid dreaming is being aware that it is a dream.

For me, becoming lucid in my dream causes me to wake up.

Once every few months, I’ll have a dream where I’ve found some awesome insect, usually giant. A few days ago, I walked outside a building and found an enormous stick insect-grasshopper mashup. It had a robust body that was black with longitudinal electric green stripes and was altogether longer than my hand. I went to take a picture of it and discovered that it wasn’t just one insect but two, one piggybacking on the other as they do. A mating pair! It must be my lucky day. I got up on my tiptoes to get a better angle and saw another one nestled next to them both. I woke up then, but I assume they would have kept multiplying if the dream had gone on… I just really wanted a picture since I’d never seen anything like it and figured you guys would get a kick out of it.

Oh, and I’ll also have dreams about spiders. Again, finding big spiders, aggressive spiders, way too many spiders… I imagine those dreams are the sort arachnophobes will have, which is really strange since I adore spiders in waking life. Dreams are weird.

No I was actually more upset I didn’t see them in real life.

Lol. I’ve had so many dreams about nature and I just wake up feeling sad that I never really saw that creature. Like a coppersmith barbet visiting my bird pools (which are for some reason filled with fish?), or a owl perching on my window while belting out ‘the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny’ on repeat, while an army of assault-rifle wielding moon moths break down my door in search of LAMP. I mean, how cool would it be if that actually happened? But then I wake up, and realize I never really saw an owl or the moths.

Just the day before, I got this dream where there was a huge bird that looked like a half-cormorant and half-vulture. And of course, my camera wouldn’t focus on it.

I once had a dream that all the Birds of Prey in my area were in the same place. Like literally, Crested Serpent-eagle, Brahminy Kite, Black-winged Kite, Shikra, Oriental Honey-buzzard, Indian Vulture and Common Kestrel, all on the same tree! I think some sort of Raptor meeting was taking place, because they were screeching at the top of their voices.

I know I’ve already shared a bunch of my dreams here, but I had a really crazy one last night and couldn’t resist sharing it. Me and a bunch of other people were forced to work on an enormous scacecraft by some unamed beings I didn’tget to meet, but we had to me turned into mesostig mites first for some reason. So we all transformed into mites and then set to work on the spacecraft. Apparently we weren’t doing a good enough job because the Emperor from Star Wars showed up and turned some of us into “cockroaches” which looked more like giant pillows with tentacles. I don’t think we were ever able to make the spaceship fly.

Isn’t that what this thread is for?

I know, but I don’t want to seem like I’m hogging up the thread with all my posts.

A couple nights ago, I dreamed of a dandelion with very large, orange flower heads. Wondering if it was planted, or maybe came in accidentally in fill dirt, I was trying to ask other people at the camp if there were any others like it around.

I dreamt last night of a tody-flycatcher that I was trying to photograph. It came up real close and basically posed for me. BUT the camera didn’t have close focus so I got a blurry blob.

I had a dream last night that I was staying in a city in Africa or Asia (can’t remember which but I think it was Africa.) And I was there for specifically inatting.

I had a really interesting one last night, but it kind of faded once I woke up. Something about tide-pooling and finding a really colorful sculpin which bit, or stabbed me, or did something strange.
