New species of flying squirrel from China

I thought this was a cool discovery. Pretty exciting to find a new mammal in 2019, especially a giant flying squirrel.

In 2017, Jon Martin, at Northland College, accidentally discovered that North American flying squirrels are fluorescent when he pointed a UV flashlight at one.

No one knows why.
